We’re excited to announce our latest partnership with Sadhana Forest — one of the foremost ecological revival and sustainable living organizations for tree planting projects that will be supported by our community-governed voting system.

Sadhana Forest specializes in the planting and nurturing of a dynamic and indigenous Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest (TDEF) and will act as our newest partner for our tree planting and forest conservation projects. This partnership will ensure that our community can actively participate in climate-positive actions through its decentralized voting process.

Haroldas Pakalniskis, CEO of Brokoli Network, had the following to say:

“I’m delighted about our partnership with Sadhana. Their extensive tree planting and forest conservation structure is fundamental in allowing us to deliver our vision to make every DeFi transaction climate-positive.”

A key factor in choosing Sadhana Forest as a partner for our tree-planting projects is its biodiversity focus — Sadhana’s ecological revival project covers the planting of over 160 different species of trees across India, Haiti, and Kenya.

The trees planted from this partnership will be nurtured consistently throughout their lifespan to ensure a positive long-term impact on the climate. Sadhana Forest is also an active partner at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

About Sadhana Forest

Sadhana Forest was founded in 2003 by Yorit and Aviram Rozin with the vision to transform 70 acres of severely eroded land on the outskirts of Auroville, India to provide sustainable living, food security through ecological transformation, wasteland reclamation, and veganism.

  • 28,000 Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest (TDEF) in Auroville, India
  • More than 80,000 trees in Anse-à-Pitres, Haiti
  • Establishment of a food forest project in Samburu county, Kenya.
